I have this kite also. I set it up quite a while ago, but I think the line length was about equal while set at full power. I now fly it fixed loop with an Airrush trim strap and I like it this way. I first tryed it with a chicken loop, but I found that this required too much arm pressure to my liking (except when sheeted out all the way to my stopper knot or sheeted in enough to hook into my fixed). So I just use the fixed now. This kite does not fly off the fronts to the extent of an X2, but will fly off the backs when sheeted in fully and will fly off the fronts when sheeted out fully. I find it difficult to go upwind easily on this kite unless you are powered up enough to have the kite at least about half way depowered (so that you are flying somewhat more off the fronts). In these conditions, I like it.
