In 2001 the Underground LT 151 (twintip)was THE board in Germany. Easy to ride, loose feeling, good for jumps.

If the boards have been developed further, tests will tell us.

I already tried new prototypes from other producers which run better than the 2001 LT 151. The LT 151 had problems with running upwind and edging when overpowered (my experience).
If you made different experiences, let us know.

I use the LT 141 and it handles heaps of power... but you also need heaps of power to go upwind with it. Very light board as well...

can't comment on the 151 as I've never used it.. but underground have got heaps of different trays out there now... My friend Tim (usermane "aklbob") likes his 151WT...

Actually I have the 147cm Wavetray not 151, and it is a medium wind board, good for an only board, you don't need heaps of power for it, less than you would expect for the size, ie less power needed than using a 150cmx40cm wakeboard, but you need to be able to park the kite before you go upwind..
Good in chop, and good all rounder, forgiving when trying tricks...

I heard that the wavetrays don't flex. Is that right?

It’s very hard to compare rocker on boards. What I have done on all the different boards I’ve owned, is place a 2m long ruler on the bottom and compare how each board differs. My Cabrinha Spoiler, Jimmy Lewis Vulcan, Roberts TT, and Dinner Tray, all appeared to be identical, or so close I couldn’t see a difference. The wave tray appears to be straighter until you get near the tips. The outline on the wave tray is very parallel. So parallel that if you press too hard with the front foot, it can throw a lot of water in your face. Boards with a lot curve in the outline don’t throw as much water in your face. However, the wave tray does go upwind better than any of the other boards I’ve ridden with more curved outlines. There may be a connection.
