I was thinking about the fuel for Cape Town. What I am unsure about is whether 17 13 9 is a good combo for me or whether the 9 is too big as a smallest kite.
My weight is 90kg and I ride small tts.

If my girlfriend moves down there with me I guess I will not get around getting a 7, too?

Hhhhmmmm, difficult to decide!

Suggestions welcome as always,
Nico

Im using the 15 and 11 at the moment and waiting for the 19. I am pushing the 100 Kg mark so those sizes will be really good for you I think. A couple of days ago I walked off the beach with the 11 up in 30 Kts. A 75 KG guy was using the 15 over last weekend when it was gusting 23 kts and his comment was a couple of times I got blown off my edge but still spent 5 hours on the water for the day. Then just to blow us all away we had a upwind race 3 days ago, wind speed up over 26 kts, I put up the trusty 11 meter and was going, Mr Mad Dave Edwards put up the 15 Meter and went out with that, didnt come off his edge once. some huge air and what he considered a great sail. About his huge air we were filming for panasonic over the weekend and Dave went out with the head cam on at one time. He launched a couple of jumps and when I watched the footage I was convinced I didnt want to go there, we timed jumps on the camera at over 8 seconds, wish we could check the hight with it.

Often, the wind in CT goes above 30 - so the 9 should be quite nice, I guess...
