I wonder if SS 2003 fuel have a nice low end in their 17m kite. Should i start riding in 8-9 knots? Does it fits well on my Rhino2 12m?

What about the upper end? Thanks

I've mentioned lower end several times. Use the search. Upper end has yet to be determined. Holding down the 17m up to 20 knots so far.....

Totally uncalled for. Many hours were spent writting about this by various people. The search will give you what you need. These same people will write more as new things are learned.

Hi Anonymous,
Personaly I can't see any arrogance in Johnny's help, he's given us loads of info on the new SS kites, take a chill pill dude, have you helped Pedro or anyone more than Johnny?

Hi Pedro,
I think the wind ranges on the white reef site are pretty accurate

http://www.white-reef.com/Kite/Wings/Fuel_2003.htm

A mate of mine just tested the Fuel 17m and said this: 9/12 kts with a jarvis 157
low range 8/9 knots but it obviously depends how much you weigh, what board you use and how good you are in lightwind.

With the 2002 16m Fuel I can get going on a 7' directional in 8-9 but with a 170x40 TT need 10-11, I reckon the new Fuel will be about the same.

Thanks for the information
I ride a F-one TT 142 and weight 75kg.

It should be 9 knots for the 17m i think.

One more thing, looking to the kite standing on the beach the 17 looks smaller than other 16 m kites, but it is larger. What is the AR for SS fuel 2003 kites? i want numbers  it really looks low AR if u look to rhino2 or x2.

Thanks again.

Hi Pedro, I think 9 knots might be pushing it a bit on the 142. Don't know the AR sorry.

It is 142x37.5, people now are making lighwind boards with 140x41.North already has an serie board like this.
I get planning pretty fast on the f-one  and my experience is 90% lightwind, im used to it
