instructor wet / drysuit ... for colder regions ?

last eason i switched from my trusty ol' camaro S.A.P. to the neilpryde E3.
while i'm riding i never regret this step.
but when i'm instructing, that suit does not feel super comfy warm.
when i come out of the water, i'm as chilled as the students - so a session afterwards is no option.

so has anyone good experiences with drysuits that will keep you warm even if you're standing around in waistdeep water for hours ?

maybe something from the fishing-sector ?

A drysuit should do the trick as you can put as many layers of fleece under as needed.

especially looking at the feet - i'd like one with mighty boots

Then you just need any drysuit with latex socks. Then you wear normal socks under the latex and surf booties on the outside.

Im also intructor and have ocean rodeo dry suit. It is not very good for this purpose - when you are "half in water" - air i pressured out from your legs to your upper body because pressure difernces between air and water. And this restrict your movement - heavy. Dry suits are good when you are all in water or all on the air. I have also SAP and its much better for this. However just standing on beach in cold wind - pyro is much warmer. I also prefer pyro for riding

I teach in a cooler area in Canada and can stay in cold water for hours in relitive comfort with a OR Pyro. The student is warm because they are doing the work. In a wet suit I would get the chills for many hours after. If you are on a good beach (no sharp stones etc.) some wool socks and latex socks over them works good, or some thick booties.

I find the Pyro makes a cold water session not just possible, but enjoyable.

Air displacement can be let out through the neck seal, for better mobility.

hey murdoc, get a decent job, somewhere not so cold and somewhere you don't have to stand in the water for hours. working as an instructor is not matadory a kind of slavery or toreture

I saw some nice suits from the NASA ( Space cowboys )

Ok they are white but better than nothing
