Can you tell us more about kitesurfing in Italy? Are the lakes pact, any bans, where are the nicest beaches?

Hi Toby, I live at the sea particulary in Lignano Sabbiadoro,so I don't use to kite in the lakes,from half of june till the end of september the beach is full of people so we go kitesurfing at the islay in front of Lignano it is totally free and a fantastic spot you can run side to side in front of the islay for many miles on flat wather and if you need waves you just have to a little bit outside where the shallow water makes a reef. We have also a kite school there, we reach the spot with motorboat so we have made an association, the 'NEKA' north East kitesurf association.
