Abdominal, that is... For a while, I was thinking hernia, but I don't know what that should feel like either. Nevertheless, every once in a while when I lean over, sneeze, or bend solid rods of steel with my bare hands, my upper abdominal muscles knot up for up to 30 seconds before relaxing and sending me on my merry way. Anyone else get this or other weird symptoms? Me thinks it's related to my kiting.

yeah, i get this too, especially after a long gusty session on my wakeboard. taking off my booties after a session like this becomes a pretty big to-do...stretch the abs, take a deep breath and try to get them off in one fell swoop, repeat for other side.

in fact, i've got that pain today....i love it, it means i had fun fun fun!

This can be avoided or relieved if you wear a harness with a higher hook, or just grin and bear it, it will pass if you kite regularly, and give you stronger abs.

I can only assume that you are wearing a waist harness. I've never had that unpleasant experience wearing a seat harness (fusion). I am, however, starting to get some weird peeling skin on my palms from riding. I've been at this for 2 1/2 years and all of a sudden, now I get these weird blisters? I can hear the jokes now, but has anyone else gone through this. Doesn't hurt, but it sure weirds out the wife!
