Is it right to assume that a Naish depower strap on the slingshot bar flying a 16M Fuel will not have the depower range as the orignal slingshot setup?

Yeah, try measuring them, but if you're talking about an X2 type depower, no it won't because the X2 flies on the fronts and has very little depower throw while the fuel rides off the backlines and has more. The fuel actually fies better with a longer depower so I wouldn't recommend using a shorter one.

I always found the Airush one to be the most reliable compared to all other brands. If my memory is right it is slightly longer than the Naish.
