I weigh 65 kg and I'd like your opinion on which board I should go for. And why. Thanks.

They are very different boards. The Naish rides a bit smaller, tracks straight, and is easy to ride. I would say the Jaime is looser, wider,(feels bigger) and requires a bigger, more advanced rider. I think for your size the Naish makes more sense.

I've just purchased the north robo, i am so impressed with it. Rides great gets me going as early as my 180switch, robo is only 140 but due to the fin configuration and the 41width its the real deal. Only weighs 2.5kg. Naish boards are abit heavy i think. Other friends who have rode it are raving too, one guy went straight to order one, the other thought it was great compared to his rrd trixter.

The North Robo is designed as a light wind board.
Are you going to use it as such, or is it your one board quiver whatever the conditions are?

i have recently sold my Naish tt 4.9 and bought the north 141 jamie pro. The North boards are miles and miles better than the naish. the construction is as equally important as the design, the north flexs and is so comfortalble in all sea states the naish has virtually no flex so bounces around and they are very heavy.

I am hesitating between the North jaime Pro 141 and the SOS Surfstix 140 Silver (No carbon).
How do they compare in term of flex?

currently testing out the loose xx boards, but i definately want something with a fuller centreline and big fin action, how does the slim north ride.

I think for your weight the Jaime will feel big. The 146 Naish is stiff and heavy. Try a Gaastra G-chip 142, its thinner, has flex for a soft ride and is less expensive due to a less "custom" construction. Plenty durable for a rider your size. Comes with great NSI pads and wide straps. Another option would be a Slingshot Zeppelin 137. Either board would be better size and more reasonable price. Aloha

I'm also at the dilema stage. Looking at the Wavetray147, TAD Custom 148, VARI, ?????? anyone tested any of the above. Plan to use it with Aero II from 10 to 16.

Just a note on the North Robo, love the board but scratched the paintwork pretty much on the rails the first two times out so no more hammering up the beach for me!
