Rick, that's why me choose to make our lines with different colors.

The steering lines are grey with the endings on one side red, the other black. And the depower lines are white with also red and black endings.

Now you just need to know that the dark lines belong to the back of the kite and the white lines to the front of the kite.

I noticed the unique color scheme and it makes sense. The quick release on the kiteproshop bar certainly works very well too. You folks put a lot of careful thought and execution into the design of your spinable control bar system.

Ah yes the crossed lines..... My ARX nearly tagged someone in the back of the head at the beginnin of the year...

I've also crashed my kite onto and old lady's roof... it dragged me onto the road...

All because of crossed linz...

I suggest that you burn the ends of the lines with a lighter so that they don't fray.

Hello James,

Good point, these mockups were put together rapidly but neatness does count. Please checkout the revised photos and setup at:

phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=3745&forum=1

If anyone else has ideas lets hear them.
Both of these sets of photos are untested and are to promote discussion and development of a concept that we all might want to put together. There must be better ways of doing this. It would be great to send launch injuries caused by misattached lines into the past.

well I quess we can never get to much input on a simple thing like fixing your lines to your kite.
My meathod is lead lines yellow q-line. Rear lines white q-line.
I have run magic marker up and down both white lines, one red one green.
My BEST input is this: I always attach both yellow lines to my kite's leading edge before I unwrap the bar! "Always" Then I unwrap the lines and put the bar face down. From the bar I grab both backlines and pull them through the yellows one side at a time, walk to the kite and hookum up red to red green to green. No way to cross the front and back this way! you simply can not pull them through if you did messed up.
I find this is also the fastest way to get the job done right.
Simple job/senceless injurys
come on people

the above post is mine.
I feel the need to make a point

All the meathods execpt mine adress only the attachment of lines

My post is the only one that includes twists tangles and the like.

MY post is the only "compleate" solution

Its is the only post that offers one.

Point made
