I am wearing booties 100% of the time.
I have to choose the best straps + pads combo to install on my board, but because I wear booties I am looking for your input based on your own experience.
Basically my concern is foot entry/exit, especialy in the air during one/no foots.
So, is the new concept (wide straps + ergonomic pads)ok with booties?

I would use flat pads and NSI symmetrical straps with booties. I used them on both mutant and TT and was very happy using them with booties. You don't need ergo pads since you are using booties (already some dampening there). And this combination is excellent for one-footers. Hold is perfect too (NSI straps are pretty wide and fit great with booties). In the beginning you will have them tuned quite tight, and afterwards will set them bigger and bigger.
Remember that your leg should touch the strap.

Coming from a windsurfing background I am concerned by the strap touching the leg.
Any risk for injury?
Is it common advice?
