I've been using the Rhino II 16 and have been real happy with the low end I get for my weight (90kgs). Any feedback on how you guys feel about the 20? I've used the X2 20, turns really nice, but not enough low end for a heavy guy. I know the Rhino 20 should pull pretty good, but how about turning speed and jumping? Any comments welcome before I spend the big bucks. P.S. I made an earlier post about the Rhino II 12, thanx for all the replys, I bought the kite and am real happy with it. The Rhinos seem to work well for us heavier kiters. Bill

I have the 16 and 20. You will not be disappointed at all. You will be very surprised at how good this kite is. The low end is very good. I can park the kite in 7 knots, go upwind in 8 knots. I slowly lose a little ground riding at 7 knots. The turn speed is indentical to the 16m. What's most amazing is the board speed I get in light wind. I think I like the kite more than the 16m. I have not tested the upper end yet. I've been told its very good. Much better than you would think. The kite feels light and nimble in the air. I fly it with an 18" bar. I weigh 83 kg.

Almost forgot, it does jump really good with endless hang time. I think the hang time is better than the 16m.

I hope they make lots of them because once people try them they will sell better than any other big kite.

What Dwight writes is spot on. The 20m is a special kite with huge low down power with a light bar feel. The other thing that stands out is it's stability in light gusty wind.
One thing that I am now playing with is line lengths, I have gone from 30m to 27m lines and it felt a lot better but with the same height & hang time. It is a must get kite.

Hi guys,

Maybe I buy a RhinoII too, but what's the next size to quiver my ARX11.5 (I'm 90kg)
An 16, 18 or 20?

Please don't tell me to buy two, a 16 AND 20, too much money.

Thanks a lot !

I think the 20m. It will have the range to go 20 to 11.5. The 20 may have more top end than the 18. I've heard that from one tester. The 20 has a shallower draft than the 18.

I have a rII 20,16
I am 90kg
the rhinoII 20 is from 10-17knonts and you can pull up to 18 in flat water
The rinoII 16 can go (I don't from what wind because I use the 20) but I used from 15-22knots and in very gusty conditions.

Can you relaunch the 20??
Is that the biggest they make this year?
Do they make a big Toro to compare in that range?
Sounds like a great kite.
Thanks in advance

Hi Dwight;

Does the kite rock with my Slingshot Drake or do I need a fast board as with the X2 ?
