Hi Guys from Tristatekites, welcome in the forum!

I had a look at your website and I saw that you have the Mach 1.

Can you tell us more about the performance, handling and wind range?

Thanks
Toby

Cool, waiting for warm air coming to your area! I hope, you don't have to wait too long for it. It will be very interesting to know, how the 18.1 is flying.
How does the bar look like? Good depower? How about the safety system?

If it still be cold until end of March, come down to the Masters at Miami Beach!

Well, I hope I won't have to wait either  ("Warm" winds (5 deg?) shouldn't be too long now)

Nevertheless, this is now weekend time and I'm getting ready for some beach-play with my blue 18. It came with the same materials as shown on f-one-usa.com site (bar, depower, safety, repair, 2way pump, 27m lines). The first impression when opening the (nice!) bag and dragging out the kite and all the goodies was : high quality. This may be repetitive of other posts, but this is very true!

The bar is 55cm long, and I am curious (anxious?) to see what it will be to handle an 18m2 monster with that.....

Will let you know.
Cheers,
j.

Hey Jido,

Please be very careful playing with an 18.1 kite at the beach !!! Just on gust and you have to wait another 6 month to go on the water again. The most accidents happen on land, not on water. Don't be too excited about the new kites, it is not worth your health!

yes yes... nice post! These kites are good, arent they

I hesitated for a while whether I would get a 15 and a 9, or a 18 and a 12. The winds here are usually more in the 6-20mph range, so I chose a 12+18 combo (I had hit the lottery, well, kind of  ).

I look forward to test the 18m2 as well, and will let you know how it turns in 6-7mph winds.

j.
