Search for AMP in this forum, and you'll find it - I've flown the AMP here in Denmark !

If you are buying a larger kite, I would definitely go with the amp. If you were going smaller I would say stay with the Airblast or go to the Hydro since it's slightly higher in aspect from last year. The amp will not disappoint you. Trust me.

I have tried the AMP 10.3 last weekend.
I used both in the same day, the AMP 10.3 and the airblast 10.
Even without bridles, the AMP is light in turns and very quick and precise.

I have used airblasts in the past and still do and had use of a 10.3 demo for 3 weeks in the West Indies.
I would rate the 10.3 as follows out of 10
Turning - 9
Power: area - 9
Wind Range - 8
Lift & hang time - 8
build quality - 7
Upwind - 8
Stability - 7
Relaunch - 7
Overall a great kite and markedly better than the airblast which is also a good kite in my opinion but not so refined given its 2 years old.
The best attribute is the fast turning which enables the kiter to perform better.
A fine job by who ever designed it, but its still early to tell what its durablility will be. For Airblast users they won't be disappointed. Other brand users will no doubt attempt to slate it. For some reason some people are determine to see Wipka go down
I don't know if they are producing a new bar and I haven't seen the bag. Anyone know?

That is true !
The Airblast and the AMP are two extremely different kites - you can choose which you prefer
The Airblast is and Airblast, and the AMP is more like a Rhino.

I have one AB 11.8 (16) and one AB 10.0.
I can say that I´ve noted that the high end wind speed of the AMP 10.3 is the same as the AB 11.8.
That´s because of the AR. The AMP has smaller AR than the AirBlasts.
