Having just seen lots of Rhino 2 `s out in Tarifa it has to be said that whilst reading all the good press they are getting no one mentioned the noise they make, like the sound of a Bi plane (v v loud) from the trailing edge. This has to be from a flapping trailing edge ???Anyone else come across this , is it a fault ? If it is a flapping edge they won`t last 5 minutes !!!

All the norths do it here.
We presume because the kite has so much pull it has to constantly fart, due to the effort.
We havn't yet noticed any bad smells though and the birds havn't complained either.

You're kidding! A 2003 kite flapping? I thought it was only the big 2001 kites that did this! It's a design fault, and causes a loss of performance! I'd be very suprised if this is normal... ( + like someone else said, when a kite is flapping when flying, the kite wears very quickly.

Maybe a faulty batch got through the North QA Department. The flapping must really screw up the aerodynamics of the kite, any tech heads out there.

What if you have one of these flapping kites?
Would you be able to claim on the warrenty?
In this day & age there should be set parameters on charactoristics that we should be able to claim!

I've used Rhino 2 10, 12 and 14. No unusual flapping in normal use.
