South Fuerte has a nice lagoon to practice in. Kneedeep for about 3 hours during hightide. At http://www.rene-egli.com you can get more information and also the tide table.
Best time is in winter, since the winds come side or onshore. In summer the wind is offshore, gusty and very strong (up to 10 Beaufort!). On the picture you can see that the lagoon is closed so even with offshore winds your are safe.

in this bay you will find the Rene Egli Pro Center II, above the lagoon begins

With the car you have to go from the Hotel Sol Elite Los Girones to this spot in the middle of the lagoon

Nice post!
I will be in Correlejo in a couple of weeks. I will definitely pay the Lagoon a visit.

Make sure you will check the tides since it is about 100 km away from Coralejo.
Depending on the wind direction you may not be able to go out in Coralejo, so always go to the lagoon, it is fun!

Enjoy your trip
