well, the jumper went so high, the cameraman lost him in the frame for a few seconds before finding him again. So many would argue that during this time, they could be passing the seconds while the video was paused. Basically, they were going to release it, but the tube companies asked to please not do it. I know this as a fact, so if you want to argue go ahead, i know it is true.
Maybe someday they will release it, it was done with a psycho in fuerte i think by armin harich or jens seigert.

If this is true, it would give more weight to the "industry-wide conspiracy theory" against ram airs (by pro's in the PKRA, inflatable companies etc).

I think there is no reason to discuss this, because if it is true, they will do it again.
The hangtime doesn't count, if you do it only once, and never have a hangtime like this again. All you need is a longer, strong gust to achieve it, whatever kite it is.
So in hangtime comps the Psycho can show its potential directly compared to the tubes.
