Hi,
I'm not familiar to the Mosquito kites.
But for the begining it will be ok.
Most people prefer tube kites, therefore the foil are better for using in snow.

You can teach yourself, if you don't have a choice. Watching videos will help, but don't try it on your own. Get 2 friends to help you. Don't try it at land (only at very light winds with no gusts). Better to go in the water with sideshore winds and lots of space downwind. make sure to get the weather forecast and it doesn't say any gusty conditions or stronger winds.
Be very cautious with putting the kite together and attaching the lines. Before launch control twice if the lines are ok.
Don't risk too much and don't show of.

Just try it carefully and let us know if you have further questions.

Cheers
Toby

A couple of good videos to get would be "How to rip", and "How to rip Harder".

It won't help much to watch "Total Insanity" or some other high-octane jump-fest (although it IS fun to watch those! ) They just are not set up as instructional.

Good luck out there, and BE SAFE! Kites are amazingly powerful, treat them with a great deal of respect, and make sure there is PLENTY of room wherever you launch your kite. You will be dragged at some point or another. Be aware of downwind obstacles, people, etc.

the mossy pro KS II offers a good safety-system and
flies somewhat stable -

the ks I is a real btivh -
4 line setup - lots of flaps and stalls.
if you're not familiar with kites and wanna fly this one with 4 lines and handles, take an old tubekite!

if it is an old KS I with two or 4 line setup,
don't buy it....
