Postby Guest » Mon Feb 17, 2003 7:47 am

I'm looking for the best place to go kiting in July. Where is it possible to find really good strong constant wind in July?

Options:
Cabarete
Margarita & Los Roques (Venezuela)
Antigua or any other island of the Lesser Antilles

July is probably one of the best month of the year for this area, offcourse, watch out for hurricanes.

mid June through August are the best kitesurfing months in Cabarete. Winds are typically 15-28 knots almost everyday from 10 or 11am until sunset! World Cup is June 18th with windsurfing race week happening the week before.

Stefan and I own Kitexcite. If you need help with lodging recommendations, let me know!

Those are the best months for visiting Puerto Rico. Constant trade winds, 100s of miles of kitsurfable coasts and you kite with your friends or people you meet here. There are very few crowds. :D PS most US flights to the DR can be through Puerto Rico no extra cost so you can visit 2 islands on your trip.
Aloha Royce.
