good question!
I'm wondering as well.

In a former thread I read there are 120.000 tubes and 20.000 foils out there.

Assuming an average kiter has 2 kites, that makes it 70.000 kiters worldwide, but growing big time!

Any other numbers available?

sorry due to mistakes I had to edit my posting and hope that it's all is ok now.

let's get 140.000 lei and rams as stated.

20% are old and not beeing used any more.
5% are still in the shops
makes 35000, so we have now 105.000 kites

We will jump to 100.000 and get the 5.000 kites back later.

From these 100.000
we have 6 % kiters with 4 kites that makes 6.000 kites for 1.500 kiters,
we have 24% kiters with 3 kites that makes 24.000 kites for 8.000 kiters,
we have 70% kiters with 2 kites that makes 70.000 kites for 35.000 kiters
we have kiters with only one kite the missing 5.000 kites for 5.000 kiters

so we will have all together now 105.000 kites 49.500 kiters

ufff.

Don´t know the number, But far west, almost at the end of the world....
In Buenos Aires you can see tons of kiters, I even count 250 in a space for 20. Seems pretty dangerous.
I´m proud of bieng one of them.
Regards,

JKL
