I just got a Lotus Design PFD (the "Lola" model), it's designed for kayakers, it fits great, nice and comfy.

It is too bad that no one has made an impact/harness into one! I think that it would be a great idea.. remember how they use to have chest harnesses for windsurfing? I wonder why no one has made something snuger for kiting! And of course it would be great if they came in womens sizes! I cracked my ribs kiting and it hurts! Unfortunately I have tried many vest and can not find one to fit! I also wear a waist harness...

Try finding a ripcurl dealer and see if they have any of last years wakeboarding vests. They are PFD3 rated, have zip and buckle at the back (out of harms way) are well padded, short sleeved so they won't ride up and best of all my waist harness sits perfectly on top, I often don't realise it's on. Don't ask why, but they stopped making them this year
