Take all of your kites and hope you don't need the big ones

Ah tou have done it now. No wind for the next two weeks because you coming over. Stu stuffed it up for 4 weeks when he was here.

We have had a shocker season. we have just finished a week of 10-15 if ya were lucky knot breeze every afternoon. last week we had Three good days one of 25-30+

15-20 forecast for today. So Bring all your kites.

Scabrough, Cottesloe, Pinaroo Point, Safety bay if you can kite ok.

Safety Bay, Pelican Pont, Lucky Bay on the river if you are begining.

Lancelain to the North, Marget River to the south.

have fun

Angelo
You won't need a smaller kite as much as you will need a bigger one . Like Shunter said we are at the end of summer and the winds are getting lighter . Maybe just bring a mutant or something for the lighter days .

OUTLOOK FOR SUNDAY:
Fresh S/SE winds tending fresh to strong S/SW in the afternoon. Swell rising to
2.5m later.

So whos going to the light wind coast on sunday for the OZ nationals?

Thanks mike for sacrificing a week of kite to give us some wind over here.

winter is not great by our usual fantastic summer conditions, but the die hards like me still manage to get out a fair bit. different wind patterns typically lighter pre frontal winds building up to gusty squaly shit for a day or so. Pick the days to go out and we can get good conditions with good swell. we also get alot of offshore wind days but have local rivers/bays that are safe to fly in in these conditions.

Its just not the same as the summer seabreezes which NORMALY turn it on every day from 1-2pm.

cheers

shane

no worries mark

see you on the beach. If you havent already been trying rotations. Try backrolls they are the most easist rotation to learn. Even under powered you can still land them its just all about comitment. Look for a small bit of chop/wave keep the kite at about 10-11 oclock (higher for a slow inverted rotation lower for a fast flat) DONT fly the kite back, pop/spring of the chop with your back foot and as you do that look over ya front hand shoulder. The key is not to hit it to fast at first and keep looking. easy

have fun
