Hi Steve,
you are more than welcome to ask, if you have any further questions.
I just told a guy to steer the kite all the waydown to the water and just before up again, to get more power to get ouit of the water. Maybe you are doing this wrong?
Anyway, it helped him and he came out and rode some meters!
There are small things to learn faster.
Same, when you want to get or keep height. It is easier to look in the direction you want to ride to instead of watching the kite all the time. This way you turn your body more as well and also the board. Instantly you will get more height.
