i've been thinking about the same. after reading this forum i was pretty much going for the toro2 instead of rhino2 but after i heard comments on toro2 18m2's slow turning (relative to rhino2 16m2) i don't know what to do. i've heard pretty nice things on takoon wook, so may be i should go for that one? tough call.

Hi sebbie;

I just wanted to order a 18Toro2, but when I read now it turns too slow, I don't know what to do anymore. I can't remember that Dwight wrote it turns slower than the 16Toro2. Maybe he can help us out once again?

On the North site they put two ** after the 18Toro2, but only at this size.
Can anyone tell me what it means?

Hi,
Where did you read about toro 2 turning slow? I just ordered a 12 and a 16... At a time i had in mind to order a toro2 12 and a rhino2 16. My idea was to have easy handling in 12-20 knots and more power and manouverability in lighter winds (10-15 knots). I went to two toro2 to have the same feeling in both kites and because i read "The larger Toro2s turn quicker with less bar pressure than Rhino2s" from Master Dwight :D (posting phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=5758). I am lost again.
I have a question to which i would like to know the answer: when should one choose a "high aspect ratio" kite instead of a "intermediate"? I know this is a tough question to answer but many of us "intermediates" have this doubt and i would like to hear more opinions on this.

The Toro2 18 turns FAST. You are mistaken. :D

Faster than the 16 Rhino2 and with less bar pressure.

The 16m Toro2 turns a hair faster than 15.5 2003 Lift and 15m 2003 Fuel.

Very few have flown the Toro2. Who said these things? :evil:
