my kite keeps jellyfishing.....help!?

Postby Guest » Mon Mar 10, 2003 8:10 pm

hi there,
i have just bought an airush lift 9.4 and although all the lines look ok, the kite keeps jellyfishing, even when there is sufficient wind around, and everyone else's is staying up fine.
i have the de-power lines fully out so it's not from those, i think! the de-power lines appear to be much longer than the other lines.
can anyone please let me know if there is any usual explanation and something else i can try.
thanks

First off,
the J-fish is not a bad dude,,it is more a misunderstood thing,,, than a bad thing,,
stop lookin at the j-fish and you will stop careing if he's their,

IS YO: bladder filled with air>????,,,
>>>the j-fish loves loose backlines,,,
IF YOU: sheet-in does he go away????
bottom lines no loss in power,,, only a loss to your >>>>I WANT,, list<<

Kiteing is about making the kite your bitch,,,,not bitching about your kite!!

IT"S ALL GOOD 8)

Another sad truth brought to you by

:bye:

cool man, you bought the wron kite !

I had a Lift too in 16 and I sold it after only 2 (!!!) weeks bacause of jelly fishing: you have to pump it very hard, that helps a little, but the lift has so small tips that you cant avoid pumping.

a good idea would be: find ablithering idiot who buys it from you ! :thumb:

yeah it can be all the fo and nico have mentioned.
try this
1. pump it up hard
2. see if it has a tube warp
3. check line lenghts, backlines setups and adjust tension
if it still jelly fish
read good advice from fo and nico over again!
Cheers
Adam
