Postby WRINKLY GIT » Wed Mar 12, 2003 5:24 pm

DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL RIPPED OFF.HAVING BOUGHT A 18.1m MACH ONE F-ONE LAST SEPTEMBER FOR £1000 .I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THEY ARE NOW FOR SALE FOR £450 , THIS MEANS MINE IS WORTH F**K ALL AGAINST A NEW KITE.NOW ,CHEAPER KITES ARE BETTER FOR EVERYONE, BUT FINDING OUT A SEVEN MONTH OLD KITE IS ONLY WORTH A THIRD OFF WHAT YOU HAVE PAYED FOR IT, IS PRETTY ANNOYING..HOLD ON LET ME TAKE MY MEDICATION.. :jump: ...aaaaaaahhhhh ...BETTER NOW. :thumb:

Just bought the 12.1 and am very impressed by the kite, where can you get the 18.1 for 450?? sorry to rub salt in the wounds.

Keep your kites till end of season then buy the 2003 sale kites.

The "latest and greatest" will always cost you more.

Don't you realize that not only is your kite available for less money, but it is now obsolete, and probably doesn't even fly very well compared to this year's model? It doesn't have the newest vortex thruster panel modulators. Of course next year, you'll again have to buy another kite, due to technological breakthroughs...and on..and on...ad infinitum...

you pays your money and takes your choice.

its the same with everything. don't buy into the bigger better faster stronger routine, its all going to appear to have been so cyclical when we look back at it later.
