Well i would just like to say, thank you to lite wave they do make a great board i have to say it is so smooth on the water you have to look down to see if you are still on the water ,I have the 169 and it is one of the first in the eu i bought it a few weeks agao and it still looks near new,i used rubber bands foot straps, it really is a great comdo
you really have grat feel from tow too heel ,and it cuts thought chop,put that with my chose of kite AB 8.5,and i dont think about anything but going faster and bigger .

Hey ryan,

The 169 sure is peachy but if you are still using the 'bungee ' heel straps then be carefull as they can be quite dangerous... not so bad on flat stuff as I see you get to enjoy from your pix... but they are very stretchy and you can come out of the straps and get caught up as they twist around your heels... so much so you can't hardly get out andthe board is stuck to you.. this is very hectic in waves.

The 169 comes into its own once you have some sort of binding, sandal or full, attached... you can then set the heel further back and get a much better edge in.

PS. your lonely irish spot looks great, hope I can make it over sometime.
