According to him there are not many kiters around. (as we can see on the pic).

Don't leave him alone out there!

Yea the same for the beach I use now there are so many kites up esp beginners that it can be difficult to get near the water now days.
This I don't mind as I can get out and away from them but they have a habit of dropping kites and do not have enough control when there are others on the beach so it gets a bit worrying that some other beach users may take exception to us using the beach and complaining to the local council. So don't complain if you're the only one out, count your luky stars whlie you can as it will all change soon.

yap.
Advanced riders will be moreand more leaving the known kitebeaches because of too many beginners. Here the most kiters start at spots where they can stand in the water.
Advanced will avoid these places and start where it is deep and no beginners around.
Therefore the beginners have a lot of resposibilties for the beaches.
And beginners should listen to what advanced say, if it comes to safety at the beach.
I know it form my local beach. Some beginners don't even think. So we have to do it for them. I remeber myself, I didn't think neither, since I was too excited. And no-one was out there to give me any tips.
But nowaday many guys are around to ask.
Go for it!

I wrote an article about Dingle in Ireland in te Dutch Kitesurf magazine. With Ryan Air from Brussel to Shannon is only about 29 euro (one way)

Pictures on my website: http://www.kitebeach.nl/bestierland.html

Ok i should give you the stats of my spot, onthe map, It is about 30mintues for Rosslare hardour ,about 2,30 hours from Dublin ,it works on all winds but the best wind is from the s/e which is the pervaling wind ,so 60% of the wind is good ,It is grass all the way around and some bush and stuff .You drive across the grassy sandy bank on to shore of the lagoon then set up and take of into chest high water a bit more in winter then you can stay try in calm water or go out in top the big bit,
And i can honestly say there has never been any other kitesurkers on out with me i was told there were another two there but ihave never seen them out on the water.
Anybody weclome but not all.
