as i know the kite is producing one power vector combained from 3 powers :the drag ,gravity and the power produced by the wing shape of the kite,if you put the kite 90 degrees above you ,the integrated power is up ,in this position i would be happy to know the difference between the kites ,and now to my donation:
the ar5 13.5 is little bit weaker then the 13.5 arx but equal to the f-1 15.1 .
the north 16 is stronger then the 13.5 arx i guess i would esteemait it as 14.5-15 arx
i woould be happy to hear your impression of the kites

Have seen the f1 12m in comparison to the arx11.5. The f1 is a totaly different design.
The f1 has hardly any foil to it, the struts come strait out of the front tube, which is a lot thinner. Only the airrush kites also have that sort of cut, they also perform on a similar level, it makes the kite very fast and easy to steer. The f1 12m is probably as fast as the 7.5arx if you like that sort of thing...
Larger sizes would be easier to steer, unfortunatly the f1 kites just dont have the power of arxs`s wich have their own problems,
oh man, this could go on for ever, i guess you just have to find out for yourself , which kite suits your style, But seriously, look at thickness of fronttube, foilshape, after a while you can guess how they fly

the ARX had a lot of power.
The Rhino creates it too, but it doesn't fly that much to the front of the wind window.
Therefore it is easier to go upwind with an ARX, IMO. The F-One is the fastet kite of the compared (don't know babout the X2 yet, but I guess it has the power of the ARX, more lift, more hangtime and faster turning)
But the F-One has less power than same sizes ARX and Rhino. The 15.1 can be compared to a Rhino/ARX 13sqm.

tobi iwas kiting with 16 north and 15.5 arx both are not mine in 10 knots ,the arx is abit stronger but very hard to steer (do the s manuver) so even thou the north is weeker he can produce more power .
but what about x2 or slingshot rrd ....?

Hi Nati,
that is correct, the ARX is very hard to steer. The Rhino is more fun to handle.
But I think the X2 will be very good as well.
The RRD Supertype can be compared to the F-One and the Type 4 is supposed to be a good kite as well. Slingshots are also very good.
I didn't test it myself, but hopefully I can test the Slingis next weekend.
Wealso should mention Takoon, which supposely have a lot of power.
I only heard good things about the 8.5 Skoop.
Lots o´f Power, very good control, great hangtime and lift.

hi toby.
about the takoon i talk with aguy that have the skoop 8.5 he tald me that the kite is fast and give very nice and high jumpes but has he said its the same like the 8.4 ab but little bit better ,other frind wich fix kites tald me that its not looks good as the north or the air-rush ,in his wards its awipika (not famed as qualitative kite ), and the x2 i hope to check it and to find that its bringing new generation of flight and materials but my on guess that it will be the same ,maybe abit better then the new generation of kites f-1,airrush ...
