Aero 2 16m vs. Wook 16.5

Postby gundu » Tue Apr 01, 2003 8:04 pm

G'day,

I'm interested to hear what people think of these two kites. I've searched this forum but there doesn't seem to be a lot of info, possibly because they are newish kites.

I weigh 84kg and will be riding a 160cm TT. The plan is to get another kite to complement my 11.6 Skoop, which I can ride in about 16 kts plus.

I have ridden the Wook once in 10 kts and again at about 18kts - nothing in between ! I'm used to the 10m airblast so the wook felt very different and while i'm no expert, it obviously doesn't fly as far forward in the window as a kite with a higher AR. It also felt quite heavy and I'm wondering if this is because it sits further back in the window.
Does the Aero 2 feel similiar?

I've never owned a Naish but they seem like very well made kites - it'll be interesting to see how this porcher stuff works out on the Wook.

Whichever kite I get will be without the bar, lines etc.

Thanks for your replies.

Cheers
