I'm so FAR away from doing kite loops....I just started jumping 1/2 decently, but these videos are great & nice to see where this sport goes.

it seems that it is the 'easiest' to make big kiteloops like that with relatively short lines 7-20m, where 7-15m is probably the ideal length.

I dont know if is possible to get higher than the kite with regular length lines(about 30m), because the kite has to travel a much longer way than if you where using short lines.

This footage was taken from the Ten4 DVD, which has a lot more of these awesome kiteloops. This guy busts quite a few, also some killer ones from Lou W.

Kite loops are harder with short lines IMO because the kite loops thru the full power zone. With longer lines you can loop the kite at the top of the window without it powering up too much. I see Bertrand all the time and he is the ultimate looper for sure. With his pully bar, 12 m lines, and aero 2 kite on fast setting the kite loops so fast its hard to believe. Most peoples reactions are not near fast enough to loop like Lou and Bertrand. For me its harder to loop on my 17m lines, and easier on 22 and 27 .

You gotta be kidding. Proper kiteloops are SO much harder with long lines. 15 Makes it so much easier and quicker.
Pussy kiteloops may be easier with 30's but a proper loop is harder cause the kite travels a lot further.
