i'd go for the 15.5 psycho purely for the feedback from the bar. its gives you better control over the kite and the option of using the rotor leash, which you can't do on the uds system with bar.
and the uds will invalidate the warranty, but its a great system that makes a superb light wind kite much better.

Do u think that the UDS syatem allows you to fly in lighter wind than the R2 20? I know we are comparing LEI vs foil but what the heck..
Thanks

a 16m mastair will get you out in lighter wind than any lei, and it will relaunch.
go to
http://www.foils.nl go to the user forum and go to reveiws to seee jo's review of his uds powered 12m mast air.
he's stoked.

The psycho is the way to go for every day riding,The mast air 16 with the system is the way to go for extreme light wind.I think the psycho will give more of a range.I am thinking of having manfred convert a psycho 15.5 for me, to see what it does to that bad boy.Either way you will be getting a really good kite.If you are in the US I have one demo 15.5 flown 5 times and plenty of new ones in stock.

Hai out there,
you can get the SPIDER bar prepared for the FS-Leash.
I already delivered 2 bars for MAs with leash and the next SPIDER for a set of Warriors will have a leash too. So if you need a leash, you will get it !! I hate leashes thats why I developed a bar that does not need a leash but has the same safety with a different system.
I am sure you can not find a system on the market that give you so much feedback and control over your kite as the SPIDER bar does.
Greetings
Manfred

if you want to mess with it, you can convert any of the kites, don't know why you would want to put an aftermarket kit onto a brand new kite though.
the psycho already comes with a system that is specifically designed to get the maximum performance and durability out of each kite.
and the verdict is definately out on whether the uds kitted kites are as good as the psycho's until someone with both does a posting, i very much doubt that they are.
it would be some trick to get a 12m mastair to turn as fast as the 12m psycho.

A Mastair 12 with UDS and Spider bar will turn much faster
than a 12.0 PSYCHO.
