How do you stop spinning?

Postby MrBonk » Mon Apr 07, 2003 9:32 am

Greetings,
After watching my extensive collection of downloaded kite videos once again (hey, I'm grounded....got nothing else to do), I've noticed that when performing a jump, you appear to be able to stop spinning at will to line yourself up for the landing. How is this done?

you counter rotate your lower body to stop the spinning. if you are spinning you can stop the rotation by turning your legs and board in the opposite direction, sort of like a reverse table top.

its not easy, and most of these guys will be depowering and stretching out at the same time to reduce rotation speed.

That is if you are spinning in your vertical body axel. And if you are spinning with your body parallel to the water? Get vertical and do what you say?
