10 year old 370 Bic Bamba Carbon kevlar honeycomb construction. Planes nicely.

With the center board down, it goes upwind as long as the kite stays airborn.

With surfer wax on the deck, can do a water start.

And with a double paddle, it becomes a rescue kyak. Very useful

How long bord do I need to kitesurf in no wind ? :)
Lets try this. You place longboard in wery shallow water. By running on a shore you get a kite in air. Then with a kite in air you ran to your longboard making apparent wind and jump on a longboard. And Woala you are gouing in absolutly no wind :)

I have invented the No wind kite bar. It has paddles at each end.
Patent pending. :)

Maybe you should patent also kite with ventilatot hanging on the lines under the kite. Onlu problem is where to get so long power cabel. And do not drop kite near you withot swiching off power for ventilator.

No cable, use solor cells for the skin

As a joke, I held a kyak paddle with the kite bar, so as I paddled, the kite was turning back and forth. Looked like the kite lines were coming from the paddle bar. Got a video of it, lost some where. ( I was on a long board)

Maris - How did you do with the Surfplan 3.2-3.3?
That's an awesome program for free. Thanks to David Aberdeen.

Funny thing, the one I downloaded had a read file about 3.4 features, but the progam is still 3.2. It exports beautiful DFX. I'm planning to register or just send a donation. He says register only for commercial use. Private use is free.

also bear in mind that in these winds most places have pretty flat water.... use a small kite too that turns fast... preferably not an LEI

Somebody should sponsor a lightwind contest, lightest wind and highest speed attained; no restrictions on kite or board size and type.
