Why buy a small kiteboard when wakeboards cost half as much?

It amazes me how some people just don't read whats in front of them. If you reread above, liquids wakeboards can cost as much and more than their kite boards. The reason some of their wakeboards cost less is because the mold is a couple seasons old and thus already paid for. In return the cost of the board can come down significantly. Also you have to take into account the materials used, labor force, and maintence of tools used to make them.

After all its not Liquid that sets the final price, its the vendors, thats why you shop around to find the best deal. Its also due to the reason that someone mentioned before, since not too many people kiteboard (compared to wakeboard) the manufactuers sell less boards and thus have to charge more to cover production costs. Wakeboards have a high demand and the industry is older so boards cost less. This isn't just one company its all of the manufacturers and they have to to cover their cost, make a profit so they can bring you something better next year, and make sure you get top quality products.
