Why do you think Naish sizes are 100% correct ?steve s wrote:I own a 14.5 Skoop2. Laid against a Naish 16m X2 it is the same size. A friend has a 17 Skoop2 that is really close to a Naish 20m X2 in size. He bought it as a replacement for his 16 and now basically has two 20m kites. I was wondering what is the true flat size of the 9 Skoop2 and why Takoon is calling their kites smaller than true flat size. It is written "flat" on the kite. Steve
I dont know which is right, but I know that most likely neither are measuring absolutely correct.
But a 3 m2 difference - I dont think this is right no.
Remember that just a slight change in width of a kite gives a huge change in area...
My Skoop2 17 is definitely not 20m2 in size, thats for sure !
