the 12.5 and the 10.0 would be interesting for me. which size do they have in proj. area.
I´ve got a 8,5 FA(2000) and 11.5 FA(2001).
is it useful get one of them above, to have one size between the FA´s.
or could the difference of at least 3m² be catched by depower.
which intermediate kite is the best? (no naish my dealer didn´t have them)
wipika, f-one, takoon, gaastra are possible
thx a lot

I think the skoop 12,5 will be like an airblast 11.8 = ca. 16 m2
The Skoop 10 = airblast 10 = 13-14 m2
I will be buying Fone Mach1 after testing a lot of brands (see my post). I'm still looking for the right size. Probably I'll buy Fone Mach1 15.1 and 12.1, look the same like I had last year in an airblast 11.8 (16 m2) and 8.4 (11.5 m2), this was great quiver, except for the 11.8 to start later than Naish and North.

The skoops are more powerful than the 2001 air blasts. The 10.5 proj /14 surface area has much more low wind power than the 2001 AB10. The 10.5 skoop easily has the low end of the 11.8, so the 12.5 skoop should be much more powerful, but I haven't tried the 12.5 yet. I have used the 2001 11.8 AB alot and the 10.5 skoop about 5 times now.

the differnece between surface area and projected area is the factor 1.36.
So e.g. Gaastra, Wipika, Takoon, Cabrinha are projected, therefore multiply their size x1.36.
Naish, F-One, North... use the surface area.
So these sizes have to be divided by 1.36.
