Spot for kitesurfing in the Gorge?

Guys-

I am thinking of going to The Gorge at the end of May. Do you have any recommendations? where is the best spot for kitesurfing? The Gorge is a popular windsurfing destination, I would like to go to a wide spot where you have enough room to avoid the windsurfing crowd.

What is the temperature at the end of May?
If you have any recommendation for lodging as well, or any trip experience that you would like to share, please do so.
