Hi.
I made a test with the RhinoII kite and found a serious stability problem. I had the kite in zenith, I was laying on my back on the ground and then I let go of the bar, keeping the kite only in the depower loop. The kite stayed on the same spot in zenith for only a bit more than 3 minutes and then it started slowly sliding to the left. Could it be that I have my lines set up wrong or is this a manufacturing fault? I think this is a problem since I had thought that this kite is stable that I can leave it in the air while going for lunch.

Hi,
I dont fly the rhino, but i have never seen any LEI that remains in autozenith.
3 Minutes is a good value!!!
The only kite I ever used, that has this feature is the standard arc.
Have fun, Thisl

3 minutes
I guess you ment 3 seconds?
With 3 seconds it could be a manufacturing problem, but 3 min are ok.
Maybe if you had an ARC before, it is different....
Let us know.

No but joking aside, the god d..m kite stayed up there for a 40-50s or so, incredible long anyway. It was just floating there like there wouldn´t be anything else to do. 100% depower on, just hanging from the depower line. I would say the turning & stability & power issue in the RII is amazing. The depower could be better... but as said, you cannot get everything into one kite.

Try it in Gusty conditions and you'll see how stable it really is. No kite will stay there in gusty conditions. If you have fan blowing conditions I know a lot of kite that can do that.
