Batten at the tips of a Naish ARX 15.5

I think it sucks with lines shorter than 25 metres, how do you do your areal transitions with the short lines?? I think it's a lot harder that way..

IMO this is personal. If you don't like, someone else might like it. For my 15.5 ARX 20 m are great and I don't have any disadvantage on doing tricks.
But always depending on the size you flight.
My 11.5 ARX is a nightmare with 20m lines!

So what lenght for what size?
And what is best for jumps and for tricks? For lighter wind longer lines but when is it better to have a faster kite to pump?

normally longer lines are better for lighter winds. if you have a little more wind use shorter lines. with my ARX 15.5 it is better to have 27 m lines in light winds which will be hard to steer, but short lines are not enough to catch in some wind. There is a point where you can't ride with fun. Better wait at the beach for more wind.
with shorter lines you are able to fly bigger kites in stronger winds. the best is to try it with your kites and different line lenghts to find the best setup for you.
