Does anyone know if their is a good spot for beginners in Gran Canaria with shallow water?

There is no shallow water around GC. But Playa Del inglish is a nice place to kitesurf. But you have to walk all the way down the beach (pass the nudes!!) to find a place where theres not so many people.
