I'd like to buy booster because it's cheap and I have heard that it doesn't fly bad, but if booster is good why isn't it popular?

what do you think about?
thanks

the booster is not too bad, but not really good, too.

even the 12m needs a lot of wind to fly.
the bag of the kite (the 12m version) is about 2 meters long (because of the battens).

water-relaunch is not very good, but on the other hand, the booster is hard to drop.

the accessories are crap, too (bar, pump, leasch etc).

the booster 8.6 seems to be a good kite i didnt try it ...

i can tell about the 12m:
good upwind performance, a lot of jellyfishing, fast, stable ...

well, if you get a booster REALLY cheap, then go for it - if you don't mind the long bag
(not good when flying -> your kitebag'll be bigger than your boardbag).

if not, buy used stuff -for example airblast 2001 (but watch the mylar), arx or north rhino...

it's better to have fun on the water and a pissed off bank accountant than a satisfied one and bad equipment

you should be somehow experienced -> like i told:
the booster's hard to drop, but not 100% restartable.

read in german forum that windtools will be dissolved but i didn´t no if it is right.

when you buy a new one could be a problem with the warranty.

I seen that the windtools's forum isn't more active. this is a bad sign.

I tried to contact them, but the windtool's mail is full ...

PS could you post the URL about the news that you told me
thanks

I rod the story also in a german kitesurf magazine. Michael Lakowski CEO at Windtools is leaving the kitescene. So fare there is an investor that maybe will take over the business from him.

If it's true, we will miss a good inovater the kite market. I personaly dont like the Booster at all but I had a good time with the Moskito few years ago.
