A fairly big article was in the UK Time paper today on a guy who killed himself doing power kite 'suicidal' stunt move. i.e. tethering himself to the tree and kite.

Doesn't explain in detail but I guess the tether gave way.

Another fellow succeded at the same task (killing himself) in the Seattle area a number of years back when he tied himself between a dump truck and a huge kite.
