Big Mutant for Lightwind and in the Surf! Good Idea?

Postby -andre- » Wed Jan 07, 2004 10:15 am

hi,

i own a three kite quiver (18r4,12r2 and 9 co2) and a 125*40 twin!
weight: 83kg

now i want a fast lightwindboard.
what do you think when can i start with the naish 5.4 mutant for example?

next point is to use the mutant in the surf with smaller kites! will that work fine?

or is it better to buy a bigger early planning twin because i didn´t like 2+m diris in the past?

greets and thx
andré

I just got turnned on to a 159 realwind mutant

it has changed the way I kite in 15-20! :thumb:
I can crank upwind,
play in the surf better,
jump better
and dont walk up the beach anymore :D :D :D

Still like the wakeboard for strong wind
but .....

220 lbs
11.9 AMP /16.2
8.5 Skoop /11.6

Two boards.

Mutant 5'4" and TT 140 *38.

TT for flat water to choppy. fantastic edging machine with upwindability.

Due to winter storms, I am only using the Mutant as it is much more nice to ride on waves, swells. It goes much better against the waves when going out and big air.

Thinking to get the new Mutant 4'7".

Ciao,
Mo
