Airush Riders: 2005 Reactor 18m or 2005 Lift 16m

Postby somchai » Tue Sep 27, 2005 8:51 am

To anyone who has actually ridden both kites:

How does the low-end of these kites compare?

Which kite turns faster?

How about the jumping ability in light wind?

Which would be more fun to ride in 10-14 knots?

Thanks,

-Somchai

BTW: I am an advanced intermediate and have been kiting for 2.5 years.

Reactor all the way. The only down side to the reactor compared to the lift is the hang time. The lift has more hang time than Reactor, but it is still good on the reactor.

I had both (now have 06s). l liked both alot but prefer the reactors- less grunt but faster hence more bottom end for the right sailor.

Ballonboy, Is the Reactor 18 faster than the Lift 16?

Thanks,

05? Don't know- don't have Lift 16. But 18 vs 18 the Reactor is faster.
The 15 Recator is the best kite I've ever flown (incl. Crossbow)- very fast but stable. Sweet.
