I think the 2010 Helix pull further upwind than any other kite I've had. I keep on saying it, but the kite really is magic. I generally don't ever have problems going upwind, but this kite has taken me by surprise several times, especially in light winds.
I have not ridden the 2010 Torch enough to compare it to the 2009, which went upwind fine.

That Helix practically drags you upwind it flys so far forward in the window. I think it's uncomfortable, but to each their own. I also think they are very fast kites, but not so much low end grunt, especially in the larger sizes. Maybe due to a huge section of the middle of the wing missing!?;)
