Postby F12-Flyer » Fri Feb 21, 2003 3:36 pm

Has anyone tried these kites. whats the low down on them and how do they compare to kites such as Rhino 2 and x2.

and mainly jumping they have a lower AR does this effect it.

any info would be great.

There where a couple of them over here duing the xmass break they looked good the aspect is not what i would call low. GRK meassure aspect ratio using span/max chord not span^2/area as per naish/north ect. Construction looked good with dacron strips all the way along the struts and LE.

Can you get a demo of Lach dude before you buy?

Shane

Did you get out today? thinking of heading up to lano tomorrow 20-25 and a 2.5m swell

Yes I went out today and was absolutey cranking on my F-12 in the mere 15-20 knots. Out performing BY FAR any LEI on the water biggest a 15.5 and also a Rhino2 14m.

My jumps where awesome and I did the best tricks today well my best anyway. had and awesome 3 hour session which was great.

But Im afraid I know why. I used my finless ply today its small but dam its so fast across the water you make your own wind with this thing. I was actually getting overpowered at one stage so figured I would get the naish out hahahahahaahaah WHAT A JOKE couldnt even go upwind and the jumps SUCKED. Its just so slow. It is the ultimate light wind trick board. and when you leave the water for a trick you leave in speed with awesome pop.

I had to kick my cousin off the last 2 months have taking a toll on my improvement increases with that naish sure its great when your over powered but even then the jumps arnt as big when in less wind with the finless. Its really amazing.

Ok from that you can tell I had a great day.

as for globerider kites there a great kite. I just got a really good deal on a X2 12m and quite franckly im a bit worried after the onslaught of LEIs today.

AND BEST OF ALL. Im reciving a 9m F-arc next week and if this kite is anything like the 12 holy shit its gunna be awesome.
As for tmorrow I will not let the G-10 performance be crippled by the naish power eater.
