This board is my second attempt. It s 111cm by 37cm, but i am only thirteen so i can ride it in 10mph, and up. I built it by glueing two pieces of 1/4", acx (pine),ply together, and clamping them down with 1 1/4" blocks positioned at the tips. After thew glue dried i unclamped it, and it lost about 1/4" of rocker. Then i spray painted it, and varnished the entire thing with urathane a few times. Also before i started spraying the colors i sprayed on some apliance epoxy spray paint stuff.

Yah, that's my kind of edge. Looks functional.

I set my hand radial saw to 45 degrees then cut the out line to get the beveled edge, works good. Just don't drop the edge on your toe, it hurts.

Twisting? my guess is the pine. Try laminating marine ply, then coat with epoxy.
