WOW looks really great :thumb:

Has it been wet yet?

Can you tell us some more about how it's done?
Looks like you have ABS? Is it ABS with foam in the middle on top?

the vernish is dry now. the rail isn´t ABS, is epoxy, and the midle section is airex foam...! 8) 8)

what I meant was - has you been out on water with it?

You say the middle is airex (great material - use it myself) what is around the airex. I suppose you only have airex in the middle part - the one that's higher than rest of the board.

I must admit, this is an awesome board...
Hoping that mine will be as cool as yours.

I saw you use carbon-kevlar... How much flex has it?
Ever tried a kevlar-hull, combined with carbon stringers to reduce flex-overhead?

btw, how did you apply those graphics?
did you use anything else than carbon-kevlar? some fiberglass above it to fix graphics? or did you use any fiberglass under the CK?

Yes... there´s fiberglass under de CK, the graphics are in vinil, i put a smoth vernish then put the graphics... and...vernish over again....
the board have some flex.. because the Kevlar has flexibility...only carbon.. is not good to kiteboards.. i think...it will broken

can you tell what layup you used ? Fabrics?

Did you overlap the rails with the fabric?

I use glass-carbon combo but with pure kevlar reinforcments, don't break but a bit overbuilded and weight 1,9 kg. Maybe I can sligthly go lighter, but if you have radical flat landing loop turning riders... I prefer to have some credit ;-)

It looks like you made it very thin at the rails and some volume in the middle, did you need the volume for your inserts or did you made it like this for to have some volume under the feet?

Nice work, composites rules!!!

is the first time i used Carbon/Kevlar... i have 3 layers, 1 of glass 163g, 1 of carbon/kevlar 183 g and a finhish glass off 100g.
The volume in the midle is for the inserts too...and to give some resistence, I only ride one time.. and the board is very good.. now i testing in jumps.. to see if it brakes... i´m a heavy rider - 97 kg... 8) 8)
