ultimate glass/carbon/aramide/etc. setup

Postby ampeter » Mon Oct 25, 2004 9:18 pm

hi there, i'm building boards for a longer period of time now.

check http://www.hoovah.com for more details.
i want to get in something new and am thinking of ways to get the ultimate combination of material for a board.

the constructionmethod i want to use is the same as formica (abs sidewalls)

but instead of formica i want to use glass/carbon/aramide or something like this.

am very intersted in how to build specific flex patterns in a board, the board i'm going the build will have a lot flex(more to the tips)

which setup would be best? try to get a lot of snappy pop out of the board.

as light as possible and kiteloopproof.

let's find out!

I make my boards with just formica on the bottom with no ABS rails a really thin profile especially in the tips, flat bottom no carbon just extra glass in the mid section and glass on the tips. No boards have been broken so far :thumb: Guam Bomb
